St Mary’s Catholic Infant School is part of the St Mary’s Catholic Primary School Trust. This is a Multi Academy Trust in which we work in partnership with St Mary’s Catholic Junior School.
It is situated in the center of Croydon, in Bedford Park. The Foundation Stage includes the Nursery Class and two Reception Classes. Fifty-two children are admitted to the Nursery of which twenty-six attend the morning sessions only and the other twenty-six attend in the afternoon. The two Reception Classes each have thirty pupils.
Key Stage One comprises Year One, two classes of thirty pupils in each year group. At the end of Key Stage One the children transfer to a junior school. The majority of children successfully apply to the neighboring St. Mary’s RC Junior School. Strong links and good liaison between the two schools ensures continuity and progression in the children’s primary school life.
