Knights of St. Columba 974 Croydon
The Knights of St. Columba is a Catholic fraternal service organization founded in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1919. Named after St. Columba, an Irish missionary monk, the organization is dedicated to promoting the Catholic faith and supporting charitable causes. Members, known as Knights, engage in various activities such as fundraising for local and international charities, supporting parish initiatives, and providing assistance to those in need. The Knights of St. Columba emphasize the values of unity, charity, and fraternity, fostering a strong sense of community and spiritual growth among its members while working to make a positive impact in society.

Know your Faith : Bible Study & Catechism
This group meets every Monday evening from 7:30 in the parish hall. It is led by Fr Patrick Feyisetan who combines his experience as teacher and pastor to expound the scriptures relating them to Catholic teachings in a manner easily digestible by all. A sharing on the text of the next Sunday’s gospel affords members a knowledge of the gospel days before they hear it again at Mass.
Legion of Mary
The Legion of Mary is a lay Catholic organization founded in Dublin, Ireland, in 1921 by Frank Duff. Its members, known as legionaries, are dedicated to the spiritual and social welfare of others through prayer and active service. The organization emphasizes devotion to the Virgin Mary and aims to promote the teachings of the Catholic Church. Legionaries engage in various activities such as visiting the sick and elderly, evangelizing, and supporting parish initiatives. The Legion of Mary operates worldwide, fostering a sense of community and spiritual growth among its members.

Our Lady of Reparation Catholic Charismatic Renewal Group
The Catholic Charismatic Renewal Group is a movement within the Catholic Church that emphasizes the active presence and work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers. Originating in the late 1960s, this group encourages a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through the experience of the Holy Spirit, often manifested in charismatic gifts such as speaking in tongues, healing, and prophecy. Members gather in our parish every Friday evening for prayer meetings, worship, and fellowship, seeking to deepen their faith and share the joy of the Gospel. The movement aims to renew the spiritual life of individuals and communities, fostering a vibrant and dynamic expression of Catholic faith. For two years running, this group has organised the Life in the Spirit Seminar which has turned out to be a great boost to our parish life.
Charismatic Prayer meeting is held every Friday after the evening Mass.

St Anthony of Padua Prayer Group
St. Anthony of Padua Prayer Group is a community of individuals who gather to honour St. Anthony of Padua, a revered Catholic saint known for his powerful intercessions and devotion to the poor and sick. Members of the prayer group meet regularly to pray, share their faith, and support one another spiritually. The group often engages in activities such as prayer meetings, Bible study, and charitable works, fostering a sense of fellowship and spiritual growth. Through their devotion to St. Anthony, members seek to deepen their relationship with God and live out their faith in everyday life.
Prayer meeting is held every Tuesday after the 10:00am Mass.
St. Mary’s Active Youth (S.M.A.Y)
At S.M.A.Y we believe every one has a place. We want every person who walks through our doors to feel welcomed, appreciated and a part of something meaningful.
Meetings: 1st and 3rd Sunday
Meeting Location: The Main hall after 12:15 mass. Ages 12-17
St Mary’s children’s Bible study group
Children’s St Mary’s Bible Study group who meet at the lobby every 2nd and 4th Sunday from 9:20am to 10:20am.
The group is for children 5-14 years old.

St Mary’s Purgatorial Group
St. Mary’s Purgatorial Group is a dedicated group within our parish focused on praying for the souls in purgatory. Members gather regularly to offer prayers, Masses, and other spiritual exercises to aid the souls undergoing purification before entering heaven. The group emphasizes the importance of intercessory prayer, penance and the belief in the Communion of Saints, fostering a deep sense of spiritual solidarity and compassion. Through their devotion, members seek to support the souls in purgatory and strengthen their own faith, living out the Church’s teachings on the afterlife and the power of prayer.

St Mary’s Young Adults
We welcome all young people to join our youth group for ages 12-18. We want to try and encourage more young people to take an active role in the church and have fun with others their age. There will be a range of activities such as movie nights, sports day and other activities which can be chosen by members.

The Catenians Association
The Croydon Circle was founded in the Parish Crypt around 104 years ago. Croydon Circle has 60 brothers and is one of the largest in the country.

The Life Ascending Group

The Life Ascending Group is a faith-based organization that caters primarily to older adults, offering them a supportive community to deepen their spiritual lives. Founded on the principles of friendship, spirituality, and mission, the group encourages members to share their life experiences, engage in prayer and reflection, and participate in various activities that promote personal growth and community service. Through regular meetings, retreats, and social events, the Life Ascending Group fosters a sense of belonging and purpose, helping members to live their faith more fully and support one another in their spiritual journeys.
This group meets in the Parish Room after 10am Mass on Wednesdays to grow in the love of God and each other.
