Mass Intentions

Understanding the Grace that Comes with a Mass Intention

A Mass intention is a specific petition for which the Mass is offered. Mass intentions, also known as Mass cards, can be requested on behalf of another living person—for example, the healing of someone sick or to commemorate a wedding anniversary. However, Mass intentions are most commonly offered in remembrance of a person who has died.

Do you need prayers for yourself or a loved one?
Our prayers are the strongest during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, so we are all can keep each other in our prayers during Mass and benefit from the abundance of graces that come from this amazing gift. We encourage that we all do this for each other. You do not have to be specific on what you want the priest to pray for during Mass unless you want to be.

Please feel free to ask on of the priests to pray for friends, family; those you have a hard time with loved ones, that have passed away, sick, for thanksgiving, anniversaries, memorial, blessing received, honouring God etc.
All of us should also offer Mass up for the conversion of sinners and the Poor Souls in Purgatory.
Please go to the office or ask one of the priests for an envelope for the mass intentions by filling the details clearly allowing at least four to six week notice.
